Happy 50th Anniversary!

This is Granny Mae & "Boss". They are my daddy's mommy and daddy.

They have been married for 50 years!!!
Soooooo, when you're married for 50 years, you have a party!
You know what that means, right????
That means I get a new party dress!!!!! HOORAY!!!!
We all got to wear pretty flowers, too!

I like this one! It's little like me!

Since it was such a special day I was able to wear my beautiful pearl necklace that Mr. Lynn, Mrs. Sandy and Samantha gave me! Isn't it pretty?

I don't like shoes.

There was a big, beautiful cake!

And there were mints wrapped in shiney gold paper! I really liked those mints! They were soft and I could eat them!

CANDY!!!!

Brice & Keith were "guarding the mints" and having everyone sign a book.

I really do like those mints! Notice them stuck to my lips?

Mommy & Daddy said this is the "last one". Oh nooooo!

How can that be the "last one" when there are still two baskets FULL of those lovely mints???

Let me think about this for a few minutes.

"Mom! Can I have a mint????"

She said, "no". How can she say "no" to my sad face?

Even though I couldn't have more mints, it was a wonderful day for Granny Mae & Boss. They got to see a lot of their friends and relatives.

Aunt Helen is Boss' sister.

Uncle Marvin is Granny Mae's brother and his wife is Aunt Willie Mae.

Mr. Bud is one of my daddy's best friends.

Preacher Judy is one of my favorite people! She's said lots of prayers for me!

Happy Anniversary, Granny Mae & Boss!

We love you!!!!

The Wedding!

Keith's mommy & Mr. Rich got married last night. It stopped raining long enough to have the wedding outside by the pond.

Daddy helped Keith with his tie.

This is our daddy and Keith with Mr. Rich before the wedding.

Keith and his new sister Hailey. I think Hailey looked like a princess!

Keith looked quite handsome!

More photos coming soon!

Our batteries died in our camera. We'll try to get some pictures from Mrs. Tina

Keith & Sarah

My brother Keith found out yesterday that he is the valedictorian of his 6th grade class and he will be giving a speech on graduation day! We are sooooooo proud of "Neef". :)

My cousin Sarah graduated from kindergarten!

I love "Maruh"! Isn't she pretty????

A New Picture!

Brinley's days before we went to China are only photos and stories from other parents who met her before we arrived and her Half The Sky photos.
This morning we woke up to find a wonderful photo of our sweet Benni Woo waiting for us in our email from our fabulous friends Darlene and Lulu! Darlene found Brinley in one of Lulu's HTS photos and scanned it for us.

Benni is the little cutie in the white top and yellow pants.

Don't you love the haircut? I just love her eyelashes! :) That was the first thing our guide said to us when he saw her before us in China. "She has looooooooong eyelashes!"

Thank you, Darlene & Lulu!!!!

Just peeking in to say.....

It's been a GREAT DAY!!!

In fact, it was such a GREAT DAY, we were able to go to the
Elloree Antiques Festival!

Of course, I got to ride on Daddy's shoulders! That's always fun!

We looked at some little squirrels who were rescued.

The Italian Ice was really good!

Brice had a great time, too! He saw his friends James and Michael at the festival!

When we got home I had TWO surprises waiting for me!!!

Surprise #1........a new picture of my friend Gracie! We were together in China for our entire lives! Now our moms are friends too! I can't wait to see Gracie again! Isn't she pretty?

My next big surprise?????? My oldest brother JOSHIE came home to see me!!!!

YAY!!! I LOVE JOSHIE!!!

What do you mean he came home for Mother's Day?

NAH!!! We all know Joshie came home to see ME!!!!

A very special thank you to everyone who has continued to pray for Brinley and our family this week. She is doing great and is drinking a good amount of water and eating jello and yogurt but would love to EAT some good food! Three weeks of liquids! Please continue to pray for us! ~Sharon
