Sweet Lavendar

I found out today that Lavendar is now in the arms of our sweet Savior. I am utterly in shock that this beautiful child's life was taken from her.

Sabrina Banks was at first denied the right to adopt Lavendar. After the adoption community went to bat for her, she was allowed to be her mother. Everyone was ecstatic! Lavendar would have a HOME. None of us had any idea that she was going to her heavenly home so soon.

Lavendar was smothered and beaten with a blunt object. How could Sabrina do that to her? I am sick over this..........and I am MAD.

1 Hospital, 2 Little Girls, 3 Surgeries

Greetings from the hospital! We arrived here yesterday morning at 5:30 am. The girls had to be here at 6. That means we left home at 4am. (yawn!) Bailey was scheduled for surgery at 8 and Brinley was scheduled for 10. When Bailey came out, Brinley was already sedated and ready to go. I went to recovery with Bailey and Marty stayed with Brinley until she was taken to the OR.
Bailey ended up having surgery yesterday and agan today due to bleeding. I will post more about that later. Just wanted to let our friends and family who keep up with us through our blog know that they are both fine and we are hoping to be home tomorrow. Brinley might be released today. She is fine. Bailey definitely has to stay tonight.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of our friends who have called, emailed and sent messages yesterday and today. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and comfort today when Bailey went in for the second surgery. Blessed......we are blessed beyond measure! :)

P.S. Bailey is doing great now. She is watching "The Jonas Brothers", has eaten one crushed up popsicle and has requested another one.

First Day Of School

I had fully 100% decided that we were homeschooling again this year. I bought all of the curriculum and everything we needed for the year.........

However, today our children attended our local public school. I enrolled them last week. They all loved it today! They came out laughing and smiling! They are so excited about their new school! :)

Both of the girls are scheduled for surgery this week. Please keep them in your prayers.
