Marty knows how much I love Steven Curtis Chapman. So, this year for my birthday he gave me tickets to see him at the State Fair. The concert was wonderful. It happened to fall on October 21. The 21st is always a difficult day for the Chapman family because of losing Maria on May 21, 2008. Steven's grief is still so very evident when he speaks about his baby girl and longing to hold her again. I hope everyone will continue to pray for the Chapman family. They have given so much to so many and they have suffered such a tremendous loss. I pray that God will continue to bring comfort to them as they still learn to live without Maria's smiling face in their lives. They are clinging to the blessed assurance that someday they will SEE her again.
