Saturday we took a little trip down to Hunting Island State Park. We bought a State Park Pass and we are using it to visit as many of our state's parks as we can this year. We are really enjoying this new adventure and learning a lot about South Carolina.
Almost there! Brinley yelled, "Open the window, Daddy!". She's smelling the pluff mud! That's my girl!
Marty, Keith, Brice and Bailey made the climb up to the top of the light house. Brinley and I opted to keep our feet firmly on the ground. (Actually, Brinley made it up to the third landing and then decided that she'd seen enough.)
Bailey on her way up to the top of the light house with Daddy and the boys.
Made it to the top!
The view from the top of the light house.
The girls love playing in the water and in the sand. I don't know which they would choose if they could only have one option. We saw a few dolphins gracefully swimming along just a few feet away. They really got excited about that!
Brice was in the water most of the time. Keith isn't a big fan of the beach. He did swim a bit but then decided that sitting on the beach was a better place to be for seeing "the sights". He is almost 16. Need I say more?
