Early Anniversary

Kristen & Cameron gave us a F*A*B*U*L*O*U*S early anniversary gift. They kept Brice, Bin and Shay for us one night this week. We dropped them off at Jie Jie's and headed just down the road to Charleston. We went out to eat at The Noisy Oyster. That was the last place we ate before he asked me to marry him 7 years ago. We stayed at a nice little place in Summerville and then headed downtown to play tourist for the day. It's always nice to just get away for a little while with my sweet hubby. Nothing fancy, not a long vacation.....just some time to ourselves. I am so blessed to be married to my best friend. We also ate at one of my favorite restaurants in the Lowcountry. The SeeWee. Friendly people and great food!

I love to hear the older ladies speaking "Gullah". I can understand every word they say. I might live in the Midlands now but I was 'born 'n raised' in the Lowcountry. Pluff mud and Gullah...... :) HOME!
