Carowinds

Every year we try to take the kids to Carowinds the day after Book Day for their last fun day of the summer. This year Keith couldn't go with us because he had JV Football practice. Jie Jie took the day off from work to go with us and Kit met us there. We had a great time but we did miss Josh (who had a project due that day) and Keith.

Book Day

Our school has "Book Day" every year right before school starts. Brinley got the chance to visit her classroom and meet her teacher. She was soooooooooooo excited!!!

Bin-Bin's Birthday

Our sweet birthday girl!

Brinley had a nice little birthday party Saturday at home. It was well over 100 degrees outside so we were glad we waited until late in the evening for the festivities.

Our friends Jan & David came over with their kids Shelby, Katie, Ethan, Fulton and Lilly. (Ellie will be here next year with us!) Dee, Jie Jie and Cameron made the trip from Charleston and Josh and Kit came from Charlotte to celebrate. Granny Mae & Boss were here along with Aunt Helen and CaCa. We were all happy that Sarah was able to come and spend the whole weekend with us!

Bailey received some nice little gifts too (thank you everyone!) because she was celebrating being a US citizen for one year!
